Let's put Friendship back in the limelight

For too long, the lights have been low on Main Street. The storefronts went quiet, the Music Hall went dark, and the town's gathering places faded. We're changing that — and we want the whole town to come back to life, not just one building.

The Handshake is the spark: a 1950s soda fountain and social hub on 632 Main Street in Friendship, Tennessee (population ~200). But it's really about the bigger picture — reviving small-town social life, reopening the Music Hall, and giving people a reason to come back downtown. A wholesome third place where the community gathers again.

What We're Bringing Back

The Revival Plan

We're raising the first $78,000 — enough to secure the building (632 Main St) and close. From there, the momentum builds: restore the fountain, light up the Music Hall, and bring foot traffic back to the whole strip. The rest we'll fund through equipment leasing and community grants — no bank debt.
